STRONG leadership and supportive staff have seen a nursery school up its Ofsted rating to ‘good’.
Chigwell and Hainault Synagogue Nursery has received the second highest grading following its latest inspection – an improvement on the ‘satisfactory’ judgement it received in February 2011.
Inspector Jenny Forbes, who visited the Limes Avenue nursery last month, said: “Children are confident, happy and self-assured as they are free to take part in the activities and explore resources in their own way and in their own time, helping them to become independent.
“The staff team provide a warm, welcoming, safe, secure and stimulating environment where children are happy, can build their confidence and are well supported in their learning and development.”
She added the nursery should develop targets for improvement and work on its assessment programme for two-year-old pupils.
