THE GROUP set to take over the district's NHS services is inviting members of the community to its next board meeting.
The West Essex Clinical Commissioning Group (WECCG) - made up of 39 general practices in Epping Forest, Harlow and Uttlesford - will take over the role of NHS North Essex in April next year.
It is inviting the public to ask questions at a meeting at St Margaret's Hospital, Epping, on Thursday November 29 at 9.30am.
Dr Rob Gerlis, chairman of WECCG, said: “This is an exciting time for local healthcare and engaging with patients and other key members of the community from the beginning is going to be integral to the way we run.
“We are very keen to build upon the hard work of NHS West Essex in keeping patients and the public informed about being part of the commissioning process."
