TERMINALLY ill children across London will benefit from the kindness of pupils at a Barkingside secondary school.
As part of King Solomon High school’s Mitzvah Day activities students brought in toys which will be given to Jewish charity Camp Simcha and handed out at hospitals and hospices across the capital.
A ‘Mitzvah’ is a good deed, and King Solomon High teacher Daphna Starr said her pupils had benefited from taking part in the event last week.
She explained: “The children felt good about doing a good deed.
“Even though they will probably never meet the children who receive the toys they have donated, they will forever be connected to them by the Mitzvah.”
