BEMUSED motorists looked on as dozens of people wearing pyjamas performed the conga on a Woodford Green road.
The residents of Empress Avenue were out raising money for Children in Need on Sunday.
Neighbours were pesuaded to perform the dance by 11-year-old Daisy Bickerstaffe and her brothers Toby (9), and Max (8).
Mum Belinda said: “It wasn’t the best weather, but everyone got into the spirit.
“Some of the drivers going past looked a bit confused, but we got plenty honking their horns in support.”
As well as the dancing, the children raised cash with raffles and games.
Children in Need will benefit to the tune of £200.
