REINDEER getting ready to pull Santa's sleigh next month will first spend the weekend being greeted by excited children at a supermarket.

Kids can feed the reindeer, who will be attended by one of Father Christmas's elves to help shoppers get into the festive spirit when they visit Tesco in Larkshall Road, Highams Park, this weekend.

Store manager Neil Banks said: "There is no better way to start December than a visit from real reindeer.

"It is great to be able to offer customers an additional treat when they come into the store and we hope that the children have a fantastic day."
