AN e-fit of a man has been released after a woman discovered a burglar in her home.

The woman found the man in her house in Abridge Road, Chigwell, on the morning of November 11, before he jumped into her red Mini Cooper, which has a white v-shaped design sprayed across the bonnet, and drove off.

The car was found dumped more than 100 miles away in Leicester.

It is thought the man was sleeping rough in an outhouse in the woman’s garden and broke in through her kitchen window.

Pc Michael Ferguson said: “If you recognise this man or saw him coming and going in the area, please contact us.”
