A SURVEY has been launched to help improve travel to local hospitals.
Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals Trust (BHRUT) is asking patients and visitors to help shape future improvements to access and car parking.
People who attend King George Hospital in Ilford and Queen’s Hospital in Romford can fill in a short questionnaire, telling the Trust about their journey to and from the hospital sites.
The findings will help the Trust to compile a travel plan, setting out ways of improving people’s journeys to hospital and car parking on site.
Chief Executive Averil Dongworth said: “We know that getting to and from hospital is a very important issue for people and one that they feel strongly about. We want to do all we can to improve access and support those visiting our hospitals.”
You can complete the questionnaire at Queen’s or King George hospitals, or online at www.bhrhospitals.nhs.uk
All completed surveys will be entered into a prize draw.
