TWO people have been charged after police discovered seized two guns this week.
Tyson Newland, 31, of Boscombe Road in Southend-on-Sea and Dominique Alexander, 27, of Alma Road in Enfield, have been charged with possessing firearms with intent to endanger life and possessing ammunition.
The charges come after armed police stopped a black BMW in Billet Road, Walthamstow and arrested a 31-year-old man on Tuesday, at about 6pm, after discovering a handgun loaded with six rounds of ammunition.
A 27-year-old woman was arrested in a related case when her home was raided by police later that day, who found a sawn-off shotgun in her kitchen cupboard.
The pair are due to appear in custody today at Thames Magistrates Court.
