School raises money for charity
Students at Oaks Park High School have been doing some charity fundraising for Children in Need, in order to do so there have been various fun filled school activities during the week, such as a dodge ball competition, an art competition and a talent show to name a few.
The students were very eager to get involved and determined to raise money for children who are not as fortunate; a teacher said ‘it has been great to see how enthusiastic everyone has been, it has raised the spirit of the school’.
At the end of the week, the school had raised over £3,000 for the renowned charity, which was higher compared to any other year.
