POLICE are appealing for help tracking down a missing teenager who is believed to be in Leytonstone.
Saif Mohammad, 15, from Tilehurst in Reading, was last seen by his mother at their home on November 8.
Later in the day Saif told her he was in London.
Thames Valley Police think he is in the Leytonstone area after a reported sighting of him in a bar in the area.
Saif is thought to be staying with friends in the borough.
He is described as having a medium build and short black hair.
He is about five foot 10 tall and was wearing a grey sweatshirt and blue jeans when he was last seen.
PC Loren Hargraves, from Reading police station, said: “We are concerned about Saif because of his age and he has no access to money once the cash he took with him runs out.
“We believe that he is living with friends in Leytonstone.
"He went to school in the area and knows it well.”
