CHRISTMAS is being celebrated every weekend until the big day at a Walthamstow market.
Wood Street Market will have two visits from Father Christmas, starting on Saturday, December 8 between 12pm and 1pm. That afternoon at 3pm there will be carollers, mince pies and mulled wine.
Children will be able to make their own Christmas cookies at the market every hour between 12pm and 4pm on December 15, and make festive clothes and dolls with knitting team Significant Seams on December 19.
Santa will make his last trip to the market on December 22, between 12pm and 1pm, before carols are sung at 3pm.
A drawing competition for children aged up to 12 will also be running for the month: for more details please visit woodstreetmarket.com.
