FAMILIES will be treated to an unusual retelling of the nativity story in the run-up to Christmas.
York-based theatre company Riding Lights will stage Give it Back Mak! at Loughton Methodist Church, in the High Road, on December 20.
The play sees the traditional Christmas tale relocated to the Lamb Chop Inn, where owner Mak has put up his 'no vacancies' sign, and brought to life through puppetry and jokes.
The show, which is suitable for children aged five and over, will take place at 7pm on Thursday December 20 and will last for one hour.
Tickets are £6 or £4 for concessions and are available by calling 020 8502 3071.
