HUNDREDS of runners dressed as Santa went for a festive run to raise money for a children’s hospice.
The 5km ‘Santathon’ at Dagenham and Redbridge FC last weekend attracted 425 entrants, 125 of whom were raising money for Haven House Hospice in Woodford Green.
Mike Palfreman, Chief Executive of Haven House, said: “It was a really fun event and everyone who took part really got into the festive spirit.
“However, it was also about raising vital funds to help support local life-limited children at this special time of year and we're grateful to everyone who did just that.”
