PLANS to nearly quadruple the number of cameras in a town centre as part of a £45,000 CCTV upgrade have been rubber-stamped.
The plan for Loughton High Road, which would see town centre CCTV extended to the junction with Trap’s Hill, was given the nod by Epping Forest District Council’s cabinet last night.
Several High Road traders had supported the move.
