A PIONEERING riding trust will benefit from the efforts of a Loughton-based couple.

Devyan and Alpa Joshi who run the In-toto Kitchens store in High Road Loughton have joined forces with the Chigwell Riding Trust to give the charity a helping hand throughout the next 12 months.

And they kicked off their fundraising efforts with a raffle at their shop which raised £200.

The money will support the trust, which was the first riding school in the world set up for people with special needs and currently has about 160 riders each week.

Mr Joshi said: “As parents ourselves, we really connected with the great work that the Chigwell Riding Trust does.

“We wanted to help out a local charity and the trust does such brilliant work for so many people in.”

Deborah Hall, manager of the Chigwell Riding Trust, said: “We have never had a business like this choose to help us out in this way before and we’re so pleased. It was a brilliant event last week and we hope for many more.”
