A NEW business has handed a life-changing opportunity to two men who have been unemployed long-term.
Motorpoint in Valley Road, Chingford, opened in September and began searching for talented jobseekers to bolster its sales team.
Employment agency Ingeus recommended Matthew Stubbs and Mark Daniels, who shone in subsequent interviews.
Mr Stubbs, 31, had been without a job for 18 months after being made redundant from his bar job.
Manager Adam Reynolds said: “Matthew was a shining star at the interviews and I couldn’t believe another employer hadn’t already snapped him up.”
Mr Stubbs said: “I was getting very despondent not being able to find work.
“It’s a fantastic job and I hope to progress to become a manager in the future.”
