CATS and dogs look set to have a purr-fect Christmas as a photography studio sets about raising money to help an animal sanctuary.

Venture Photography in High Road, South Woodford is supporting Battersea Dogs and Cats Home by donating £5 every time they sell a Pet Pawtrait Experience.

Over the years the studio has snapped creatures from hamsters to snails alongside their two-legged counterparts in a family portrait.

Juliet Bray of Venture said: "Across our studios we welcome all family pets and our clients consider them to be an important part of the family.

"With our unique Pet Pawtrait Experience offering great value to families to treat themselves and their pets this Christmas, everyone is a winner, with a fifth of the proceeds going towards ensuring that our furry friends at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home get the Christmas they deserve."

Battersea Dogs and Cats Home operations manager Carlton Spears added: "With so many dogs and cats in our care over Christmas it is fantastic to join forces with Venture, whose contribution will help us deliver a fantastic Christmas here at Battersea."

The Pet Pawtrait Experience usually costs £245 but will cost only £25 this Christmas with £5 going straight to Battersea.

The experience includes a photoshoot worth £150 and a cinema style-viewing of the images, with a framed photo worth £95.
