A LORRY caught fire on a motorway last night bringing traffic to a standstill.
The fire started shortly after 8pm on the M25 close to junction 27 for the M11.
Crews from Loughton, Harlow and Brentwood were called to the fire at around 8.15pm.
They used two hose reels to put out the fire by 8.50pm.
The road was closed clockwise by the Highways Agency for around half an hour while the fire was put out.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
