A BRIDAL shop has melted hearts - and landed a trophy - with its romantic snowman-themed window display.
Staff at the Wedding Trousseau, in Epping High Street, have won the town council's Audrey Rose Cup in recognition of their festive window display.
More than 40 businesses in the town have decorated their windows in the run-up to Christmas.
Town mayor Jon Whitehouse presented shop owner Debbie Hellowell with the cup and a framed certificate during Friday's Christmas market.
He said: "It was good to see so many Epping businesses doing their bit to bring festive cheer to the High Street.
"It was a very difficult decision but the Wedding Trousseau won because of the powerful message depicted by the display and the effective way it has been put across.
"There is little inherently Christmassy about a wedding and I thought the shop did well to find an angle."
Runners up were James Sear Estate Agents and So Glam boutique for its Cinderella-themed display.
