Police are searching for a driver who stopped to help a pizza delivery man as he was being robbed.
A 24-year-old Dominos employee was riding a scooter along Newmans Lane, Loughton, shortly after 8.30pm on April 25, when he was stopped by four men.
The group blocked his path and punched his crash helmet before robbing £30 worth of pizza from him.
Investigating Officer, Dc James Smith said that police would like to talk to a man who tried to help during the attack.
He said: “During this robbery, a motorist stopped and tried to assist but he was threatened by the men and forced back into his car.
“He is a valuable witness and I would ask this man to contact us so that we can look to identify these four men and arrest them.”
The men are described as being white, and of slim build. Two were aged in their early 20s, and approximately 5ft 6ins tall, the other two were aged in their mid to late teens.
Anyone with information in connection with this robbery is urged to contact detectives at Loughton police station on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
