A main road has been closed in both directions due to a “police incident”.
Hale End Road in Walthamstow is currently cordoned off from both sides, meaning there is no direct access to Thorpe Hall Primary School either, and traffic has been delayed since about 8am.
The Guardian has requested more details from police.
