A nursery has been rated outstanding for the third consecutive time.

Ofsted praised Kids Inc Day Nursery, in Cleveland Road, South Woodford, following an inspection last month.

Its report said staff and management were excellent, with children at the nursery making "exceptionally good" progress in their development.

Inspector Ileana Shirley-Smith wrote: "The nursery staff have very high expectations of children, and of themselves, and as a result children are supported to make very good progress.

"Educational programmes are imaginative and stimulating, which results in children being enthralled in activities which interest them.

"Children are engaged in exciting activities and enjoy the company of their friends."

The only possible improvement suggested by Ofsted was for the nursery to enhance how it develops the language skills of children.

The privately-run nursery opened in 2003 and currently cares for around 70 children aged between three months and five years.

Kids Inc was previously rated outstanding in Ofsted reports published in 2009 and 2007.
