Old fashioned entertainment including an egg and spoon race and a coconut shy will be on offer at a school fete.
The Oakdale School fete takes place at the school in Oakdale Road, South Woodford, on May 18 between noon-3pm.
There will be plenty of stalls and games as well as musical entertainment from student band The Dibble Brothers.
Children will make and decorate their own hats for a competition which will be judged by the new mayor of Redbridge, Felicity Banks.
Entrance is £1 for adults. Children get in free.
