Pet owners are being urged to enter their pooches in a dog show contest this weekend.
The Parish of Wanstead Village Dog Show takes place this Sunday between 2pm and 5pm at Christ Church Gardens in Wanstead Place.
Categories include everything from Top Dog in Wanstead to Waggiest Tail.
The event aims to raise funds for the 'Raise the Roof' campaign towards the on-going repair and refurbishment of Wanstead's 150-year-old Christ Church.
The day will also feature a BBQ, Pimms tent, face painting and a variety of stalls.
Entry is free but it costs £2 to register a dog in each class of the competition. Registration takes place in the church grounds between 12pm and 2pm.
