An Indian restaurant is to give away free food to diners for two days this month to celebrate its opening in Chingford.
Zharaa Indian Restaurant and Take Away, in Old Church Road, Chingford, will open its doors on May 21 when a regular dining service will commence.
The following Friday and Saturday, however, the restaurant will take the charitable step of letting people eat free of charge, provided diners book a table.
Owner Mohammed Hossain said: “If you book a table you get all your food free – no limit.
“We want people to test our food.”
He added that he was new to the area and wanted to introduce himself.
The restaurant can cater for 45-50 people while the offer, valid from May 24-25, does not extend to takeaway food and drinks.
