Discover Chingford’s food and drink history in June through a walk with professional tour guide and life-long Waltham Forest resident Joanna Moncrieff.
Through pubs, cafes and restaurants walkers can hear about some of the unusual foods eaten during Tudor times at Queen Elizabeth’s hunting lodge and find out why the pub built as the Railway Hotel is nowhere near the station.
The walk takes place on Sunday June 9 with tasting stops along the way.
It lasts two hours and bookings are essential.
