Management at a nursery have spoken of their delight after it was rated outstanding by Ofsted for a record third consecutive time.
Kids Inc Day Nursery, in Cleveland Road, South Woodford, is thought to be the only nursery in Redbridge to have achieved such an impressive string of results.
Ofsted's glowing report, published following an inspection last month, said staff and management were both excellent, with children at the nursery making "exceptionally good" progress in their development as a result.
Kids Inc support manager Angela May praised the dedication of the nursery's senior manager Hilda Miller - who is currently on holiday - and her deputy Karli Fairman, saying staff were delighted at the news.
She added: "We believe this is due to the incredible hard work of our loyal and dedicated staff team. They are constantly undertaking further training and updating their knowledge...
"The management team work very hard to support the staff in their roles and are continually reviewing and evaluating progress to enable the nursery to develop further.
"The team work very closely with the parents to assess what works well and what we can improve, thereby supporting children to achieve their full potential...the children are excellent at giving us feedback too".
Inspector Ileana Shirley-Smith wrote: "The nursery staff have very high expectations of children, and of themselves, and as a result children are supported to make very good progress.
"Educational programmes are imaginative and stimulating, which results in children being enthralled in activities which interest them.
"Children are engaged in exciting activities and enjoy the company of their friends."
The only possible improvement suggested by Ofsted was for the nursery to enhance how it develops the language skills of children.
The privately-run nursery, part of a chain with several other sites in the region, opened in 2003 and currently cares for around 70 children aged between three months and five years.
Kids Inc was previously rated outstanding in Ofsted reports published in 2009 and 2007.
