Residents can attend information sessions to find out more about the Lee Valley Regional Park Authority’s (LVRPA) development plans for the Lee Valley Riding Centre and the WaterWorks Centre.
Two meetings, taking place at the WaterWorks Centre on Lammas Road, off Lea Bridge Road, tonight from 5-8pm and Saturday May 11 from 10am-2pm, will see LVRPA staff on hand to explain more about the schemes and answer questions.
The Authority is looking to build new stables inside Lee Valley Riding Centre, start pony trekking on land behind the WaterWorks Centre and to run a summer campsite at the WaterWorks Centre.
Plans, which will see the pitch and putt golf course closed, have been submitted to the borough council who are considering them.
The summer campsite will have up to 300 pitches with showers and toilet blocks.
E-mail them at planning@leevalleypark.org.uk or contact London Borough of Waltham Forest’s planning team on dcmail@walthamforest.gov.uk quoting 2013/0410.
