One man has been charged with criminal damage and two more cautioned after police busted a graffiti gang.
The men were caught in the process of daubing a train at Woodford Station on May 1.
Chief Superintendent Paul Brogden, British Transport Police Area Commander for London Underground and DLR, took to Twitter to congratulate officers for catching the gang.
He tweeted: “Great result by Insp Capon and our overnight #BTPLAreaResponse team. Caught gang of graffiti artists red-handed at #Woodford on @centralline”
Victor Javaloyes, 23, of Ranelagh Road, Tottenham, has been charged with six counts of criminal damage and appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on May 3. He is next due to appear at the court on June 14.
