A charity has issued a warning to their supporters across the county after confusion over donations.
The Essex Air Ambulance Service is warning people that white and yellow collection bags labelled ‘The Air Ambulance Service’ which have been put through Essex letterboxes, have nothing to do with them.
People have made donations, thinking that it was going to the Essex Air Ambulance, when in fact, they are in no way associated with such collections.
A spokesman for the EAA said: “Supporters, please be aware of these charity bags being dropped off.
“These collections are in no way connected to us and proceeds do not come to the EAA.”
