A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after colliding with a car.
The teenager, a 19-year-old man, only suffered a minor injury in the crash which occurred at about 2.50pm in Normanhurst Drive.
The southbound lane of Chingford Mount Road was closed off while police and paramedics attended the scene but no arrests have been made and the road was reopened at about 4.30pm.
He was taken to Whipps Cross Hospital.
