The fight against homophobia will continue at two special events.
Police officers will be at The Royal Park Café in Ray Park, Snakes Lane East, Woodford Green, on May 17 as part of an event to mark International Day Against Homophobia.
There will be coffee and a chance for the public to meet Redbridge police’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans-gendered (LGBT) Liaison officers between 10am and 1pm.
Advice and help on dealing with hate crime issues will be on offer, as well as leaflets on personal safety and support services.
There will also be a team at Redbridge College in Barley Lane, Goodmayes, to talk to students between 8.30am and 10.30am.
