The scene of a crash involving two cars that left a woman injured is cordoned off.
Part of Alderton Hall Lane in Loughton is closed near its junction with Alderton Hill and paramedics are caring for the 34-year-old woman from Epping.
She was driving a white Fiat 500 when it collided with a silver Vauxhall Insignia.
Police are at the scene of the crash, which happened at about noon.
