A convoy of Mini Coopers raised hundreds of pounds for charity, this weekend, at their first ever fundraiser.
Twenty-seven Minis drove from North Weald Air Field to Earls Colne, Colchester, collecting money along the way for the Herts Air Ambulance.
The drivers from the Waltham Abbey Mini Owners Club chose the charity after meeting representatives at another event.
Ashleigh Player, the club's online secretary, said that the trip was such a success that they are planning to do it again.
She said: “The event went really well. We raised £315 for the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust.
“We are also hoping to make it an annual event, and try to get more minis to come and try get even more money for them. We had really good feedback from the people who came.”
