Nearly 1,200 aspiring athletes will take to the racetrack as they take part in a variety of sporting events at Waltham Forest Pool & Track in Chingford Road, Walthamstow, between Monday and Thursday next week.
A total of 33 primary schools and up to eight secondary schools will be involved as teams of eight children sprint, perform long jumps, run relay races and more in the Quad Kids English Athletics Competition.
The best scoring teams from four year groups will win the chance to represent the borough at the London Youth Games in Crystal Palace on Thursday, July 4.
