Another teenager has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Champion Ganda.

The 17-year-old was arrested in Leyton yesterday after Ganda died from repeated stab wounds in Sandringham Road, Forest Gate, last Thursday.

Ganda, 17, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics at about 2pm while a 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital with stab wounds and discharged on Saturday.

Police believe an argument took place between the two stabbed teenagers and another group.

The latest arrest comes after a 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder later on Thursday afternoon, who has been bailed pending further enquiries.

Two 17-year-olds boys and an 18-year-old man were also arrested on suspicion of murder that afternoon.

They have been bailed until early July.
