Waltham Forest Dyslexia Association hopes to raise funds with a quiz night.
The organisation will hold the event at St Theresa's Roman Catholic Hall, in Station Road, Chingford, on Saturday as it tries to raise cash.
People are invited to bring their own snacks and drink, and teams should be made up of between eight and 10 people.
Tickets for the evening, which begins at 7.30pm and runs until 11.30pm, cost £5 and can be bought by emailing Helen Bigham at helenbigham@hotmail.co.uk.
