Nearly twice the amount of criminals in the district are being caught and brought to justice, according to the police.
In the last twelve months 27.9 percent of all crimes in Epping Forest have ended in perpetrators being charged and taken to court, the latest internal police figures show.
Police officers are regarding this as a success as in the preceding year only 16 percent of all crimes ended with justice.
Neighbourhood Inspector Marc Jordan has put the rise down to better handling of resources and hard work from already stretched inspectors and officers.
