A specialist school for children with visual impairments has been rated good by Ofsted.
Joseph Clarke School, in Vincent Road, Highams Park, was praised by inspectors for its teaching, management and progress made by pupils.
It is an improvement on the school's rating of satisfactory which followed its previous full Ofsted inspection in 2010.
But Ofsted said improvements could be made in recording the progress made by youngsters before the school could be judged outstanding.
