Police are appealing for information after burglars stole two laptops and a large amount of 'Asian gold' jewellery from a home during the night.
It happened in Wessex Close, Ilford, sometime between 2.30am and 8.20am on Monday May 1.
A Met spokesman said: "The residents of the property woke on the morning to find that entry had been gained via forcing the front door and they had been burgled.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Chris James at Ilford Police station on 0208 345 2680 or to remain anonymous, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
