A man arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman died in a house fire has been released with no further action.
Police arrested the man after the London Fire Brigade found the woman’s corpse in a flame-engulfed home in Hove Avenue, Walthamstow, at about 5.55am on Tuesday.
Fire crews fought to extinguish the blaze and police took the man into custody.
However, the man was released with no further action after a post-mortem was completed on the woman.
Police now say her death is non-suspicious, though the cause of the fire is yet to be established.
