A teenager arrested on suspicion of the murder of Champion Ganda has been released on bail.
The 17-year-old was arrested in Leyton on Monday after Mr Ganda died from repeated stab wounds in Sandringham Road, Forest Gate, last Thursday.
Mr Ganda, 17, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics at about 2pm while a 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital with stab wounds and discharged on Saturday.
Police believe an argument took place between the two stabbed teenagers and another group.
The teenager has been bailed until July, when he will return with 17-year-olds boys and an 18-year-old man also bailed after being arrested on the day of the murder.
A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder on the day of the incident and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
Any witnesses or anyone with any information should call the incident room on 020 8345 3775 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
