Police have arrested a man on a busy high street after they were called by staff at a Natwest bank, around an hour ago.
Officers attended the Epping High Street branch after staff became suspicious over the customer’s paperwork.
A spokesman for the police said: “A man was arrested on suspicion of fraud after he had been into the bank.
“There were queries over the documents which he provided.”
The man, believed to be in his late 20s to early 30s, was escorted from the branch and taken into police custody.
