Three men have been charged in connection with a burglary in Loughton.
It comes after a gang of three forced their way in to a home in Lower Road at around 11pm on Thursday and threatened a person inside with a knife.
They stole a tablet computer and then ran off.
Officers arrested three men shortly after in Debden with the assistance of a police helicopter.
Ackiem Augustine, a 22-year-old student from Alnwick Road in Eltham, Muhiddin Muhiddin, a 25-year-old student from Navestock Crescent in Woodford Green, and unemployed Samuel Njie, 27, from Capworth Street in Leyton, are all charged with aggravated burglary.
