A new district councillor has announced details of his first surgeries with the community.
Ukip councillor Rod Butler, who was voted onto Epping Forest District Council's Honey Lane ward following a by-election earlier this month, will hold his first weekly meeting on June 1.
His surgeries will be held from 10.30am to 11.15am at the reception area of Waltham Abbey Pool in Roundhills on Saturdays.
He said: “I can extend the times if necessary to take account of larger attendances.
“I live in Waltham Abbey and I am keen that our beautiful Market Town does not get spoilt with blocks of flats or more rows of supermarkets.
“I look forward to meeting local residents and trying to assist with local concerns or problems.”
