Singers will be able to perform in front of talent scouts from BBC show The Voice to possibly win their shot at performing in front of the show’s superstar judges when scouts come to Walthamstow next week.
A monthly open mic night at Walthamstow Town Hall Social Club will host scouts from Wall to Wall TV production company who produce the smash-hit BBC One show The Voice.
Hopefuls have been advised to arrive early to book a slot, as they are available on a first come first served basis.
The night kicks off at 730pm on May 31 and backing tracks are welcome. A maximum of two songs per performer will be allowed, but may be reduced to one if there is a large turnout.
A spokesman for Mirror Productions, who run the open mic night, said: “This is a major deal for anyone in Waltham Forest that seriously wants to hit the big time.”
Walthamstow Town Hall Social Club is in the Town Hall Complex, Forest Road, Walthamstow, E17 4JF.
