There is widespread traffic chaos for commuters this morning after a tanker spilt a large amount of diesel fuel all over a busy road.
It happened by the Waterwork's Roundabout on the Walthamstow and South Woodford border at around 6am this morning.
Delays of up to an hour have been reported on the A406 and surrounding roads and the spillage is still being cleared.
One lane of the westbound A406 Southend Road by the junction with Woodford New Road and a slip road are currently closed.
There are also knock-on delays reported throughout the region, including on the A406 and the Southbound M11, with jams reportedly stretching to as far as Barking and East Ham.
