Traditional games, Tai Chi displays and live music can be expected at a family fun day over the bank holiday weekend.
Chigwell village fete will entertain people of all ages, on Monday 27, with splat-the-rat, a coconut shy, tombola, stalls and even a BBQ.
The event, sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of Chigwell and Roding, will even include a Pimms tent for adults and fancy dress for children.
Entry is free for everyone although there will be collections for various charities at the fun day which will begin at midday.
