Children can pick up some tips from an artist at a comics workshop.
Cartoonist James Parsons will be at Fullwell Cross Library in Barkingside on May 30 to pass on advice on drawing comic characters to youngsters aged seven and up.
Visitors will have the chance to draw their own strips, make a pair of X-ray glasses and create magic code pictures.
The event runs from 2pm to 4pm and costs £2. Booking is essential. Call 020 8708 9281.
