Members of a group dedicated to helping a children’s charity have yet again raised thousands of pounds.
The Loughton fund raising committee for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children met for their annual summer lunch, on May 16.
After the popular event it was announced that £3420 was collected for the NSPCC.
Those who attended the event were treated to a speech from Garry Wykes, a retired guard from the Tower of London.
